Now a days T&D Automation Systems is one of the most important subjects in this fields . A survey about SCADA, EMS and DMS in electrical utilities in several Countries are gathered and classified in following four Regions : – Eastern Europe – Latin America – Mid East /Mediterranean/ Africa – Asia Pacific. In this paper the trend of development of SCADA , EMS, DMS , OMS, RTUs ,PLCs as well as theirs required OS , CPU platforms and protocols in the sample countries are investigated . The obtaining results from the abovementioned survey will lead the power network operators to select the best system for their own networks.
