ICCP (TASE.2) as a Standard Protocol for Communication Between SCADA/EMS Applications: A Survey

In this paper, a pithy description about the ICCP1 also known as TASE.2 is presented. The ICCP allows data exchange of WAN2s between a utility control center and other utilities, power pools, regional-control centers, power plants, substation computers, and Non-Utility Generators. After reviewing the history of ICCP, the standardization of this protocol as IEC 60870-6 TASE.2 is reviewed. Then protocol architecture together with conformance blocks is explained
